Comments: I came from Michigan to spend the winter and had both knee joints replaced a week apart by Dr. Alvarez. The surgery was a great success. Surgeries were done October/November of 2017. Any pain I had was much less than the pain prior to surgery. Prior to surgery I could barely walk more than 200 feet. Now I am up to walking 3 miles. My sense of balance was also off. After surgery I am again able to ride my bicycle 4 to 5 miles at a time. Since my surgery I have recommended Dr. Alvarez to several people and 5 of them have had him do their knee joint replacements. These individuals are all very happy with their results. You’ll find Dr. Alvarez very personable, kind and willing to answer any of your questions. I told him my new knees were the best Christmas Present I ever received!
