I suffered a back injury in 1992 that left me with sciatica down my left side. In 2011, a second injury resulted in pain down my right leg. I was receiving injections in my back every three months and was still experiencing pain on a daily basis. When I was referred to Dr. Dos Santos, I had been unable to be a full-time teacher for two years due to an inability to stand or sit for extended periods.
