Comments: My experience was very good, three visits for knee injections and then appt made for knee surgery. The staff in Winter Haven was excellent, mind you they're very busy and have to deal with many people, some difficult. I was always informed though the "get well loop", my surgery was scheduled, pre-meds prescriptions ordered.
The day of the surgery I arrived 30 minutes prior for pre-op where Sarah and John made me comfortable by explaining everything to me. Dr. Juan Alvarez came in and spoke with me about the procedure, making sure I was ready for surgery. Surgery took about an hour and 15 minutes, recovery a couple hours. When I woke up John and Sarah were there taking care of me and helped me get the pain medication to relieve the pain. After about 20 minutes I was helped to set up in bed. Next I was given a walker and I stood up and walked for the first time in months without pain. Shortly after I was taken by wheelchair to my waiting ride to go home.
